Jyoti currently operates in three main areas:
- research and consultancy on the interface of business with technology, particularly among medium-sized organisations;
- methods to improve the linkages between governments and enterprises/citizens, particularly in the context of the European Union; and
- social venturing in Third World settings.
He is director and founder of KiteBlue, an organisation that helps technology companies build and enhance their business strategies. He is also co-founder of M Institute and a member of the investment committee of Ibex, an international social venture fund. He is a trustee and non-executive council member of Interserve International, an international Christian charitable organisation operating in 40 countries.
Previously he was a member of the UK government's Better Regulation Task Force and chaired the taskforce's ecommerce group. He was also chief executive of two UK-based technology research organisations.
Jyoti has a master’s degree in economics and an MBA.
